September 27, IFIF public relation- Deputy Head of Ports and Marine Organization said “After implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, fourteen international shipping lines have resumed their activities in Iran.”

He also said that eight more shipping lines explained their readiness to return to Iranian ports.

“Among the top shipping lines are Mediterranean Shipping company which is the world`s second largest shipping line in terms of container vessel capacity, Evergreen Line and France’s CMA CGM, the world’s third largest container shipping group.”

According to the chairman of Shipping Association of Iran, all obstacles of Iranian shipping companies have been removed following the lifting of western imposed sanction. So Iranian vessels are now permitted to sail around the world freely as well as foreign vessels that are allowed to enter Iran`s territorial waters.
